When you print with ink on paper, the pigment sits on top of the water-based paper fibers and is absorbed as you run your finger over it. When printing with Epson sublimation printer, an image or design is printed onto a transfer paper using specially formulated inks that are heated to over 200 degrees Centigrade.
These thin and delicate papers are then applied to the final print media and the heat from the printer passes through them, completely fusing your design to the printable material.

3. Roland VersaWorks Dual RIP Software Bundle
This review would not be complete without mentioning one of our favorite RIPs; VersaWorks from Roland DGA Corp. This powerful software package comes with both V2 RIP software and VersaWorks Layout so you can easily connect to your Roland printer and begin working within a few minutes.
All of the advanced features you would expect from a top-of-the-line RIP are included in this package including support for over 100 types of media, two-sided printing, automatic print head alignment, drop shadows on text and shapes, color matching that is accurate without needing to calibrate your monitor every time you start up the program and more.
The dual RIP software bundle comes with six Roland specialty inks including white ink so you can produce predictable prints under any lighting conditions or substrate no matter how unusual they might be.
The V2 RIP works with Windows 7 SP1 through 10 along with Mac OS X v10.7, v10.8, and 10.9 operating systems so it is compatible with most computer platforms allowing you to easily use this RIP on PCs, Macs, or even mobile devices.
It also includes support for over 30 Roland printers so you can print directly from your own printer if desired; however, the RIP itself does not come with a built-in printer so you would need to purchase one separately to be able to output prints under any circumstances.
This software includes all of the features detailed in our review of the V2 RIP along with many new features added since then including improved speed when printing large files, enhanced color management tools that make it easier than ever before for beginners to set up their system accurately, automatic adjustment of media settings based on image analysis and much more.
The money you will save when using VersaWorks instead of purchasing individual premium RIPs for each printer you plan to use can be substantial and there is a free trial available so you can see the software in action before making a decision.
4. Roland Specialty Inks
In order to get the most out of your Roland inkjet printer, it is important that you purchase only genuine Roland inks from us or one of our many retail partners all around the world.
When buying from someone other than an authorized dealer, particularly if they are selling off-brand inks at discounted prices, there is no way to know what might have been done to reduce costs without sacrificing quality and performance which could result in severe issues with your print heads or printers.
Each individual ink cartridge for Roland printers includes a built-in chip that is programmed with all of the necessary information about this specific product including color, expiration date, and other vital details.
If you put any generic ink into your printer it will display an error message asking you to replace it with Roland ink because generic cartridges are missing the critical data needed before they can safely function in your printer.
This goes far beyond simple compatibility issues as well since genuine Roland inks are engineered specifically for each of their printers which means they are always installed properly unlike third-party options that may be slightly too large or require additional steps to ensure proper installation.
You will also avoid damaging your printer forever by using counterfeit inks because they are designed to void your warranty by operating incorrectly which can lead to catastrophic results.
Roland printers are some of the best high-quality models you can find so it is always worth investing in genuine Roland inks when buying new ink for these machines. You can purchase all of the ink supplies you need from us right here.
5. Standard Size Media Rolls And Continuous-Feed Roll Paper
When looking for standard size media rolls there are two terms we use; cut length and full ream. The cut length simply means that after a roll has been installed into a printer or cutter, it will be separated into smaller pieces based on how much it was able to print.
A full ream, however, is literally a full-size ream of paper that has not been technically trimmed in any way after rolling off the supply spool.
For example, when you purchase 24″ x 100′ cut length media it means that there are 20-25 individual cuts in the media and each piece will be around 23″ wide and 10′ long (or slightly smaller depending on how it was cut).
This type of role works great for printers because it saves space by packing more pieces into a set amount of storage space; however, we recommend using whole ream rolls if you have the room to store them properly.
Continuous feed roll paper is also important to consider regardless of your printer or cutter model so this is something else to familiarize yourself with when buying new media.
When using cut length paper you run the risk of possible misalignment issues that can sometimes lead to wasted or unusable prints so it is important to know how your machine works before switching over to cut length.
Most printers and cutters will always automatically detect whether a piece of paper has been placed inside them and adjusted accordingly which is why we recommend whole ream rolls for most standard size models unless this function is not available, in which case we recommend continuous feed roll paper instead.
This would be the only exception where we might recommend cutting down a full ream because, depending on your needs, you may be able to get away with slightly shorter print runs once all other factors are considered such as time or cost.

Epson EcoTank ET-4760
Epson is a widely respected company within the printing industry so it only makes sense that they would come up with their own unique idea to take back some of the market shares.
Being one of the leading names in inkjet printers, using their technology to create an all-in-one printer with large refillable tanks would be an amazing way to make customers more aware of the options available. Their new EcoTank ET-4760 is also designed for both home and office use which means everyone can benefit from its efficient design.
As many other companies continue to try different ways to entice customers into purchasing their products instead, Epson sublimation printer has decided that making things simpler will allow them to stand out by offering something better than what everyone else has to offer.
EcoTank printers are designed with an easy-to-fill, large ink tank system that allows the user to refill each tank multiple times before needing to be refilled again. These printers are also extremely compact which makes them perfect for any desk or tabletop without taking up too much room.
What Actually Makes The EcoTank ET-4760 Different?
Now you may be wondering why such a simple design would make this printer stand out from the rest; after all, couldn’t most other printers refill their own tanks instead? The answer to that is yes and no. While the technology is there in some places like the HP Officejet Pro 8620 (which can print up to 5,000 pages before needing to be replaced) it simply isn’t done enough.
This means that customers end up paying more money than they should because the ink tends to dry up quickly inside normal ink tanks when not used frequently, and the replacement costs to keep them full adds up over time.
Epson Stylus C88+ Inkjet Printer
Epson is a company that has been around for some time now and their quality products have always kept them in business. For an affordable price, you can get a good printer, but more importantly, you can get one that performs at a level similar to many higher-priced models on the market today. The Epson Stylus C88+ is just such a model.
Packed with almost everything you could need from all-purpose printing this machine offers great value, especially when considering the cost of owning inkjet printers. Allow us to show you why Epson still manages to hold their own even with so few differences between their product and other brands on the market:
What Are Some Of The Benefits of Owning An Epson Printer?
Buying an Epson printer means you’re getting a product with the great print quality and even greater reliability. Many users tend to prefer Epson when buying new ones for this reason, along with the ability to save money by using third-party remanufactured ink cartridges in certain models such as the Stylus C88+. But just what makes them so good and how does it compare to other brands on the market right now? Let’s take a look:
When we talk about printers there are usually two types of people who buy them: those who want high-quality prints and those who simply want something they can use anytime without worrying about running costs.
With certain models, such as the T20 Wifi model above, you can find both options in one machine. This is a high-quality all-purpose printer that’s perfect for home or office and it comes with everything you need to get started fast:
What Other Options Options Are Available?
At the end of the day, everyone wants something unique, but we usually settle for models similar to what we’re used to using until we find something better. “Better” becomes relative, however, when deciding whether or not the purchase will be worth it compared to other brands on the market. Let’s take a look at some of Epson’s main competitors and how they stack up against each other:
Which One Would You Rather Use?
With so many similarities between them, it’s sometimes hard to choose which one to buy, especially if it’ll eventually be the same price either way.
As you can see above there are some things that each of them offers which makes them unique compared to other brands on the market. But when it comes down to the essentials they’re all very similar and provide about the same quality of print provided by another for a cheaper price.
Epson ET-4750 EcoTank Wireless All-in-One Printer
EcoTank printers are designed with an easy-to-fill, large ink tank system that allows the user to refill each tank multiple times before needing to be refilled again.
These printers are also extremely compact which makes them perfect for any desk or tabletop without taking up too much space. What’s more, is that they come with all-in-one functionality and built-in wireless connectivity allowing them to work as a standalone machine without any need for wires and other clutter:
The Epson ET-4750 has been designed to be simple yet versatile allowing users to go from unboxing the printer to printing their first piece of paper within just a few minutes.
This model contains 4 separate ink tanks allowing it to print an estimated 8,000 pages before needing replacement, which is far beyond what any standard inkjet would be capable of doing even if it could hold enough ink. But this one does hold 1,400 milliliters per color tank. This is the perfect printer for long-term use and large print jobs.
What Else Does This Machine Have To Offer?
With so much extra functionality packed into this machine, it’s easy to understand why users love these EcoTank printers so much. By offering such a high capacity of ink and with many other additional features we’re expecting this kind of “all-in-one” printing solution will remain popular at least until Epson changes their design, which is usually when models reach the end of their life cycle:
Epson SureColor SC-P400 24″ Professional Photo Printer With Epson’s latest line of professional photo printers they’ve attempted to create something new by adding some unique features on top of what you would already expect from a high-quality photo printer.
If you’re looking for a printer that can produce fast, high-quality prints on both paper and fabric, check out the Epson SureColor P800 36-inch wide production color printer. This is one of the top printers in its class because it’s so versatile.

To summarize, Epson’s ET-4750 EcoTank wireless all-in-one printer is the best option if you’re looking for a reliable machine that can execute large print jobs with ease.
