It is the most fulfilling thing I have ever done, but it’s not easy. Being trapped in an endless cycle of laundry, dishes, cooking, cleaning, and childcare can be exhausting. But every time I step out of the door with one kid on each hip to go running or do anything else for myself that doesn’t involve them –it feels like winning!
My kids are older now so they understand why their Mommy needs some “me” time. They even give me advice about how to make it work when they’re home alone with Dad!” FIT MOMMY IN HEELS
FIT MOMMY IN HEELS
I’m a mommy blogger, and I am a huge fan of the show Friends. When I became pregnant for the first time, my husband and I named our little one after Chandler Bing. We have three children now, all girls, but we plan on naming our next baby boy Ross Geller if it’s another boy.
My favorite TV show is Grey’s Anatomy because Meredith is such a strong female lead character in an otherwise male-dominated profession.
As an aspiring fitness guru myself who also happens to be a mother with two toddlers to take care of 24/7 (and counting), you can imagine how difficult it is to stay fit while juggling family life! But that doesn’t stop me from trying every day!
“What the best I learned about staying in shape at the time when you have kids”
The closest one to my house was over an hour away and it just wasn’t in the budget. So, when I found out that there was an opening at the fitness center down the street, I jumped on it!
It only costs $10 for unlimited use of their equipment after six months. That might not sound like a lot but with three kids at home all day every day, it can be tough to find time to go downstairs and work out.
Thanks to this new arrangement, though, I’m finally able to carve out 10 minutes or so each night before bedtime without feeling guilty about neglecting my husband and children who need me more than anything else!
How to run after the kids without losing your mind
It was a hot day in the middle of summer. The sun beat down on all the kids as they played outside, making them sweat and toss and turn trying to get comfortable. Sammie was one of those children beaming out an amazing amount of heat from her body, but she just didn’t care.
She loved this time. She loved being outside with her friends who were more than willing to play whatever game she wanted to bring up at that moment in time; it never mattered what it was as long as they could have fun playing together under the hot sun or shade provided by their favorite tree – whichever option would work best for them at that point in time when they started getting tired or overheated.
“7 reasons why you’re an awesome Mom” FIT MOMMY IN HEELS
Dear Mom,
You are an awesome Mom. You’re wonderful and kind and I love you so much! Here’s why:
1) You always make me feel better when I’m sad or angry.
2) Whenever we go to the park, it feels like a whole new world outside my window.
3) When you help with homework, sometimes we just talk about our favorite animals instead of math problems.
4) Your voice is soothing because it sounds like wind chimes in a summer breeze when you sing lullabies at night before bedtime. 5) You’re really understanding and helpful with anything that comes up whether it be a problem at school.
I’m a mom, and I wear heels. I wear heels to take my children to the doctor. I wear heels to go grocery shopping and do laundry. And I wore them when we took a nice walk around our neighborhood block on the weekend. It’s important to me that they see me setting an example of being a fashionable woman who doesn’t let anything – not even motherhood;
A woman’s work is never done – at least not when you’re a working mom! Neither of my jobs involves an 8-to-5 workday, so I’ve had to come up with some clever ways to squeeze in the chores and errands between playdates, school pick-ups, and afternoon shuttles. One of our favorite afterschool activities is building forts.
What to wear for date night with the hubby
When you’re a mom, it can be really hard to find time for yourself. That’s why I love date nights with my husband so much! After the kids are in bed and we’ve finished our nightly routine of watching TV together and talking about our day, he’ll ask me what I want to do for fun.
How to get back in its original shape after the baby is born?
The truth is that losing the baby’s weight can be hard. I never knew how much work it would take and how long the process would last until after I had my baby girl! And now that she is here, I find myself looking at her in wonderment as she develops these new skills.
